COURSE DESCRIPTION
Detox Your Life! Detox has become the buzzword in the health and wellness space. Odds are, you’ve seen advertisements, articles, books, and social media posts about detoxing. But what does detoxing actually mean? It’s often associated with nutrition, but as you’ll learn in this course, detoxing can be about so much more than that.
This course will help you gain clarity on what detox means and learn how to detox in ways that work for you.
You will learn and have comprehensive strategies for reducing toxins in the following categories:
Nutrition: When it comes to food, detoxing is more than just “eating clean” or choosing organic. In this module, you’ll learn key strategies for nourishing yourself with foods that support the body’s innate healing processes. You will explore how to nurture and energize yourself in doable and enjoyable ways.
Beauty Routine: So many products are filled with questionable ingredients, but finding clean and safe products that are also sustainable can be challenging. In this module, you’ll learn how to make personal care choices that support your health from the inside out while supporting the environment’s health.
Home: Create and cultivate the clean living space of your dreams. Make the most of your home environment by minimizing harmful chemicals and energizing the area. In this module, you’ll dive into what it means to detox your home and how to design and care for your personal living space in ways that help you thrive.
Mind: Become the best version of yourself by living mindfully. For many, physical and emotional health are already a priority. However, it’s essential to consider mindset’s impact on overall health and well-being. In this module, you’ll learn about mindfulness, the mind-body connection, and how detoxing your mind can empower you to live the life you want!
ASSIGNMENTS & COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
In addition to the in-person meetings that will take place on Saturday and Sunday, this class will include pre-assignments and post-assignments as part of the 36-hour class.
You will be invited to join Google Classroom 2 weeks before class starts, which is the platform we use for our class. Check your spam folder, as invitations to join Google Classroom sometimes end up there. Please make sure you register for the course with a valid email address, since this is where you will receive the invitation and later, your certificate. Your email has to be Google compatible, so it’s best to use gmail, outlook, hotmail or yahoo. If you do not receive a notification to join Google Classroom, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact us.
The pre-assignments will be posted on Google Classroom 2 weeks before class starts. Make sure you join Google Classroom early and complete the assignments BEFORE coming to class. It will take you approximately 9 hours to complete.
The post-assignments will be posted on Google Classroom on the weekend of class, and also consist of 9 hours. You will have 3 weeks to complete the post-assignments. You must complete them in order to receive your course completion certificate. The course completion certificate will be emailed to you, on the following Thursday, after the official class end date.
Early certificates. The earliest that you can receive your certificate is ONE WEEK after the in-person class. You MUST successfully complete all pre- and post- assignments in order to receive your course completion certificate and you must allow at least 3-4 days for your instructor to grade all your work and Classroom Au Pair to issue the certificate. It is NOT possible to complete all work and receive the certificate in ONE day! Email your instructor once you have completed all your work.
