Discover South Florida through your lens as you explore vibrant neighborhoods, world-famous beaches, tropical landscapes, and one of America’s most unique island destinations.
This immersive four-day photography adventure combines hands-on instruction with unforgettable travel experiences in Miami, the Everglades, and Key West. Whether you’re using a DSLR camera, mirrorless camera, or smartphone, you’ll learn how to capture stunning images while exploring some of Florida’s most iconic locations.
Designed for travelers, creatives, and anyone looking to improve their photography skills, this course blends culture, history, nature, and storytelling. Along the way, you’ll learn how to transform everyday moments into memorable photographs while developing your own creative style.
What You’ll Learn
Guided by a professional photography instructor, you’ll learn essential photography techniques including:

Places You’ll Explore
Downtown Miami
Discover the heart of Miami while photographing historic landmarks, modern architecture, waterfront parks, and cultural attractions. You’ll capture iconic locations such as the Freedom Tower, Bayfront Park, and the city’s impressive skyline.
Wynwood Art District
Explore one of the world’s most famous outdoor art galleries. Known for its colorful murals and creative energy, Wynwood provides endless opportunities to experiment with color, texture, street photography, and artistic composition.
Miami Beach Art Deco Historic District
Step into Miami’s glamorous past as you photograph the pastel-colored buildings, geometric designs, vintage neon signs, and distinctive architecture that make South Beach one of America’s most recognizable destinations.
Little Havana
Experience the vibrant culture of Miami’s Cuban community. Photograph lively streets, local musicians, cigar makers, colorful murals, and cultural landmarks while learning about the traditions and history that have shaped this unique neighborhood.
Everglades National Park
Venture into one of the world’s most remarkable ecosystems. Home to alligators, exotic birds, mangrove forests, and vast wetlands, the Everglades offers incredible opportunities for landscape, wildlife, and nature photography.
Key West
Travel along the scenic Overseas Highway to Key West, the southernmost city in the continental United States. Explore charming streets lined with colorful conch-style homes, photograph famous landmarks including the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, and experience the island’s relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking ocean views.
You’ll also enjoy free time to explore Key West at your own pace. Weather permitting, participants may choose to join an optional snorkeling excursion (additional cost approximately $60–$70) to discover the vibrant marine life of the Florida Reef System, the largest coral reef ecosystem in the continental United States.

ASSIGNMENTS & COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
In addition to the in-person meetings, this class will include pre-assignments and post-assignments as part of the 72-hour class.
You will be invited to join Google Classroom about a month before class starts, which is the platform we use for the course. Check your spam folder, as invitations to join Google Classroom sometimes end up there. Please make sure you register for the course with a valid email address, since this is where you will receive the invitation and later, your certificate. Your email has to be Google compatible, so it’s best to use gmail, outlook, hotmail or yahoo. If you do not receive a notification to join Google Classroom, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact us.
Pre-assignments will be posted on Google Classroom 3 weeks before class starts. Make sure you join Google Classroom early and complete the assignments BEFORE coming to class. It will take you approximately 18 hours to complete
Follow-up assignments will be posted on Google Classroom on the weekend of class, and also consist of 18 hours. You must complete them in order to receive your course completion certificate. Course completion certificates will be emailed to you, a few days after the class has officially ended. You will have 4 weeks to complete the assignments. If you need your certificate earlier, please indicate it during the registration process and upload proof. The earliest you can receive your certificate is ONE WEEK after in-person portion of class has concluded.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance IS MANDATORY all days during the trip in South Florida. If you are late or leave early, your will risk not receiving your certificate. Please note, that this is a long weekend intensive class and the days are long. Bring comfortable shoes, water, snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen and of course your camera/phone. We expect you to come to class rested and ready to participate, learn and have fun!

** Detailed agenda, schedule and information will be shared on Google Classroom 2 weeks prior to class start date. All registered students will connect via WhatsApp, giving an opportunity to get to know each other before the trip and make plans to share an Uber from the airport.
