Covid-19 Policy
Classroom Au Pair continues to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with guidelines from state and local health departments and our university partners to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff across all of our locations. Please review our COVID-19 policies below before registering for an in-person class.
Please stay mindful of the symptoms of COVID-19. If you happen to test positive for COVID-19 before a weekend course, please notify us immediately at info@classroomaupair.org You will be eligible to attend classes if the start of the weekend is at least 7 days since your symptoms first appeared and you have gone 24 hours fever-free. The 7-day period still applies if you are asymptomatic (no symptoms) but have tested positive for Covid-19. If you are unable to attend a class, you can transfer the tuition portion of the price to a different class. Please note that for all our Destination classes, including NYC, Miami, Disney, Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, California, Texas and Puerto Rico, accommodations, transportation costs and activities will not be credited nor refunded. You will also need to submit positive Covid-19 test results.
If you start to feel sick during one of the weekend courses, you will be asked to take a Covid-19 test. If you test positive, you will be asked to leave the course to limit exposure to other students. Depending on the number of hours completed, we will work with you to either assign make-up work or to transfer you to another course where you can finish your hours. Some transfer fees may apply.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Students who risk the safety of their fellow classmates and fail to comply with these policies will be asked to leave the program and will not be eligible for a refund. By attending a Classroom Au Pair course, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
